Safeguarding Team

Harefield School Safeguarding Policy
The safety and wellbeing of our students are our top priorities at Harefield School. We have a robust safeguarding framework in place to protect our students from harm, both in school and online.
How We Keep Students Safe:
- Safeguarding Team – Our safeguarding team is available to support students facing any concerns about their safety.
- Staff Training – All staff receive regular safeguarding training to ensure they can identify and respond to concerns appropriately.
- Pastoral Support – Our pastoral team works closely with students, offering guidance and support to help them navigate challenges.
See It, Hear It, Report It:
We encourage all students to play an active role in safeguarding. If you see or hear something that doesn’t seem right, report it. Students can use our confidential online reporting system via the Report Button on our website or speak directly to a member of staff.
Online Safety Awareness:
The internet is a powerful tool, but it also comes with risks. We educate our students on responsible online behaviour through:
- PSHE and Computing Lessons – Covering topics such as cyberbullying, privacy settings, and digital resilience.
- Parental Guidance & Resources – We provide advice for parents on how to keep their children safe online.
- Signposting to Support Services:
