- Steve Hillier began his career in Educational IT at Harefield School in 2006, progressing from an Apprentice to a Senior Technician in his time at the school. He went on to lead the setup of ICT at a new school in Watford before establishing himself in Slough within a trust of schools. With almost 20 years of experience within Education across ICT, Facilities Management and Health & Safety, he brings a strong skill set to the governing body with a different view. Steve has lived in Harefield since 2009, and is invested in the community that the school serves, wanting the school to be the best it can be for the residents of the village.

- Naeha Menon is an experienced school governor with over 15 years of leadership in the health and social care sector, including at director level. She brings a deep understanding of governance, safeguarding, and community wellbeing, and is passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Naeha is committed to supporting the school in delivering high-quality education, promoting inclusion, and strengthening links between the school and its wider community.
- Joan Greening has a BA(Hons) and an MA(Lit). Seventeen years ago she became a Governor at Northwood School and after three years became Chair. She was then asked to be Chair of QED MAT. She joined the Governing Body at Harefield in 2024. She has had a long writing career in television and theatre having over a hundred productions and publications to her name. She is also an Art Historian and regularly gives lectures and writes plays about artists! In her free time she is a Rotarian, walks, loves theatre, visits galleries and enjoys travelling. Her greatest enjoyment is spending time with her family.
- Ntokozo (Zoe) Mhlanga is a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong background in nursing, specialising in HIV care. She currently serves in a Case Management role supporting individuals affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Her career also includes experience as a school nurse, providing her with valuable insight into the health and wellbeing needs of children and young people in educational settings. Passionate about the transformative power of education, Ntokozo is inspired by Nelson Mandela’s words: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” She firmly believes that schools are pivotal in shaping not only the future of individuals but also the communities they are part of .As a school governor, Ntokozo is especially committed to promoting diversity, equity, and representation. She believes that all children deserve to see themselves reflected in the leadership and culture of their schools. Her mission is to ensure that inclusive values are embedded throughout the educational environment, creating a space where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered.
